Tim Brown is a globally recognized cybersecurity technologist, chief architect, and board advisor, known for shaping the strategy, architecture, and market direction of some of the industry’s most influential security solutions. As a Fellow and Distinguished Engineer, Tim has spent his career driving innovation across nearly every major domain of cybersecurity—from vulnerability and identity management to cloud security, threat detection, analytics, forensics, and managed security services.
With deep hands-on expertise, Tim has helped design and deliver solutions spanning GRC, antivirus, intrusion detection, encryption, SIEM, insider threat, IoT security, and advanced analytics. He has served as a trusted advisor to CSOs, acquisition teams, global strategy leaders, marketing organizations, and multiple product lines, bridging technical depth with business and market execution. A prolific innovator, Tim holds 15 issued patents and has played a key role in developing and advancing enterprise patent programs.
Beyond product leadership, Tim is a respected industry thought leader, frequently engaging at the highest levels—testifying before U.S. Congress, participating in White House discussions, and delivering keynotes at global security conferences. Tim has also played a pivotal role in building ecosystem partnerships, including serving as Global CTO for the Dell–Deloitte joint venture, collaborating with system integrators, and advising startups as a board member and technical advisor.
