
Phillip Wylie is a veteran cybersecurity professional and offensive security expert with over 28 years of experience spanning IT, network security, application security, and penetration testing. As an ethical hacker with more than a decade dedicated to offensive security, Phillip has conducted extensive assessments of enterprise networks, wireless environments, applications, red team operations, and social engineering campaigns.
Beyond hands-on security work, Phillip is deeply committed to education and community development. He is a former Adjunct Instructor at Dallas College, the founder of The Pwn School Project, and the organizer of DEF CON Group 940, where he has helped mentor and inspire the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
Phillip is the concept creator and co-author of the highly regarded book The Pentester BluePrint: Starting a Career as an Ethical Hacker, which originated from a lecture and conference presentation and has since become a trusted guide for aspiring pentesters.
